Frederick Knight
One of the main figures in Alabama’s music scene he arrived at Stax in 1972.
Prior to this he played a significant part as a producer/writer at Neil Hemphill's Sound of Birmingham Studios where his Stax album was cut.
Later that decade he would achieve commercial success with his own record label, Juana, and the recordings of The Controllers and, most notably, Anita Ward.
This early 70s recording, also from Birmingham, of the previously unreleased Killer 'You've Never Really Lived' is issued on Vinyl for the first time.
An essential future classic and possibly the best record he ever made!
